Soma - Flow of Conscious Attention

Soma is the name in Sanskrit for the conscious flow of attention. It has a nourishing quality to it, our attention is the most powerful gift we can give someone.  The more expanded our awareness, the more powerful our soma becomes.  The nourishing quality increases, it begins to have a healing quality and can cause an upliftment to anyone on whom our attention is directed.  This flow of attention can be directed towards ourselves also - to our body, to our small self - the part that still fears and resists aspects of the unfolding life.  When we consciously direct our own soma, our own attention upon ourselves, we trigger this process of uplifting.

See to what extent in your daily interactions you can bring the power of your own consciousness through the flow of soma in its fullness with all those you engage with.  Sometimes all that someone, or a situation requires, is the nourishment of your soma.  We may not be able to, or it may not be our role to fix, change or improve their circumstances, but they will be nourished and uplifted by our presence which can trigger all manner of internal shifts within someone.  We simply bring our state of consciousness into contact - our dharma (or right action) in that moment is simply that.
