Silence & Dynamism: Optimising Life

How do we optimise this experience of life?  We've all tried the doing, doing, doing, and while that might deliver on the external plane, we find that the experience causes stress, breakdown in the body, a lack of joy, love and fulfilment.

So we start to meditate, we learn to tap into the inner silence and realise that we feel so much more rejuvenated, that we feel refreshed, the quality of our activity increases exponentially.  Our quality of life improves.  We find that what we've been missing is the element of silence, experienced powerfully and deeply though Vedic Meditation.  Deep layers of silence, deeper than we experience if we simply sit in silence, as the mantra continues to take our mind to deeper and subtler layers.

We also find, to the surprise of many, that we are more dynamic.  We have more energy for the relative field of life.  That more silence actually increases our dynamism.  This is how we most optimally align with our true nature - which in itself is silence and dynamism.

The whole Universe arranges itself and expresses itself through silence and dynamism.  The baseline layer of all form and phenomena is a field of non-change, of energy, of pure consciousness, of silence.  It then manifests itself into multiplicity, into the field of dynamic change, forms and phenomena, bodies and objects.  An incredible amount of dynamism is required to do this, and to maintain and evolve it.  Cosmic Self is both silence and dynamism, simultaneously. 

So we find our optimal experience of life is to align most deeply with our true nature, through both silence and dynamism.  We can't just be in silence, dynamism is required of us also to fulfil our dharma (evolutionary  purpose), but our dynamic activity is both improved and sustained by our access to silence. If we're lost in the doing, we're missing tapping into a key component of our own cosmic nature and the capacity to fulfil our highest potential.
